Jason Rorie

Internal Network Security, Data Protection and Compliance

Jason was newly enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1996 when he was asked about his goals. He laid out four aims he wanted to accomplish in four years.

"Earn a Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal?" his Chief Petty Officer said, laughing. "Be more realistic."

But the small-town Mississippian went to work. He achieved those goals ‐‐ and hasn't stopped since.

Jason earned a B.S. from Athens State University in Management of Technology. He went on to learn from every perspective of the IT industry. For more than 20 years, his career has spanned small business consulting, large corporate infrastructures and a successful commitment to entrepreneurship. He's a "jack of all trades" who understands the complete picture of IT support.

Along the way, Jason has been named one the Houston Business Journal's "40 Under 40 Class of 2016." He has earned more than 30 IT certifications, most notably the rigorous CompTIA Security+ Trustmark. But he's best known around here for his fast, fair and straightforward answers.

Jason lives in Houston, Texas, with his twin son and daughter, Mason and Madeline. In his rare time away from work, he's watching baseball or listening to country music.

Rudolfo "Rudy" Martinez

Chief Enterprise Architect

Rudy got his nickname from the number of times he was awarded medals by U.S. Navy admirals. He earned a whopping four Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medals.

It was during his three overseas tours that Rudy developed a passion for IT security. In fact, one of his medals is Navy's System Administrator of the Year. He was going far beyond the scope of IT even back then.

For nearly 13 years, Rudy has led security at major corporations. He saved Dell more than $1 million by flawlessly migrating 30,000 knowledge base articles. He maintained a 99% availability rate for all Harland Clarke manufacturing facilities. He created a roadmap for General Motors that improved monitoring of 1,000 critical applications across its worldwide facilities. And he sets the pace for enterprise solutions as a Solutions Architect at Visa.

Rudy is working on a Master of Science in Information Systems at St. Edward's University. He holds certifications in ITIL Foundation, ITIL Service Strategy and Cloud+.

The native of San Antonio, Texas, now lives in Austin, Texas with his wife, Julie, and four children: David, Adam, Michael and Vivienne. He also has three adult children: Kennedy, Carrie and Robert.
